i bought this a year ago store has replaced 3 times after they tried telling me my duct was clogged which was wrong and they agree dont know what problem is still dont dry would not recommend

I have had the sensor, thermistor and electronic control panel replaced. It has never completely dried my clothes, I have to put them back in three or four times. After all the repairs not only does it not dry my clothes the drum doesn't stop when I open the door and the light doesn't come on. This is the worst dryer ever made and its only a little over a year old. I have been a maytag customer for 50 years and this is by far the worst dryer.

I have had this dryer for over a year and I hate it. The sensor does not work, the clothes come out wet and the no matter what setting i put the cycle on the clothes are only half dry. I have been a Maytag customer for almost 50 years and I must say this is the worst dryer I ever purchased. I have to keep going to the laundry room each time the cycle ends only to find out my clothes are not dry. Plus it is so loud we can hear it outside...….So much for an efficient dryer.

I Purchased this washer because it had an agitator. I had used top load non-agitator washers in the past, and did not feel they did a very good job of cleaning. I also purchased this because of the deep fill feature. It is supposed to be activated when using the bedding cycle or the delicate cycle. It only works on the delicate cycle infrequently. I am still trying to learn the tricks and features that are useful to me, but I feel that I made an excellent purchase with this Maytag washer.

I bought this dryer about three months ago and love it. It has great features and is very large, making drying large items easy. The only flaw I have noticed is that the lint collector is removed from the top of the dryer which causes lint dust to cover the top of the dryer when you pull it out to remove lint.

Every time I use my Maytag dryer, I just wish I would shopped around. I last dryer was a Maytag and was getting old and didn't dry as well anymore. I went to local store and thought how satisfied I was with my last Maytag I would get another. I bought a touch screen. Very rarely does it take off first time. Very rarely are my clothes dry when the time is up. The outside of dryer always feels hot when running and when you shut door it is just like a big drum. The lint trap is on top of the dryer. Each time I pull the screen out, fine lint flies all over the place. How I wish I had it to do over again, I would't have bought a Maytag.

Pros:
I like the dryer's ability to detect the dampness in our clothes and automatically adjusts drying time. This features works great. The panels is not over complicated and easy to use. Warranty was also a good selling point. Purchased when on sale and felt it was a good value.
Cons:
I only have two minor dislikes. The lint tray is on top instead of inside the door which does not affect function, just need to wipe off the top of the dryer because lint will sometimes fall onto the top of the dryer when removing but this seems to be the common location for most dryers of this type. The top of the dryer is curved so if you have kids that use your appliances as a storage location and toss their hats and gloves on the top will slide off, which could be a pro in forcing your kids to store these items where they should be stored instead of on top of the dryer :)

My old Maytag finally died and it broke my heart, but it was 26 years old. I bought a different brand of washer and 2 and a half years later I've had enough of it not washing cloths and leaving soap in them. Bought me a new Maytag and will never buy anything but Maytag again. Love my new washing machine so much.

I don't believe I've ever written a bad review of an item, but this dryer has prompted me to take the time to let others know of my experience. I have owned this dryer just over a year and have had nothing but problems. The repair person has been out three times - the first two times having to replace the user interface and control panel. My dryer still doesn't dry well but they say there is nothing more that needs to be done and it is operating correctly. It seems others have had a much better experience, but I will never buy another Maytag if this is any indication of how their products work.

I have never owned a gas drier before. Always gas. I couldn't believe how fast it dries! The only thing I don't like is the placement of the lint catcher. When I remove it to clean it lint goes everywhere. It's a little noisy but nothing like the washer.
